GET TO KNOW MARK 

Mark Fraizer is proud to represent the people of Ohio’s 68th House District (previously 71st House District). His background in both the financial industry and public service give him the tools necessary to represent Licking County at the Statehouse. 

Mark has extensive experience in IT Project Management and previously worked in retail banking. Mark works diligently problem solving and helping to develop comprehensive solutions. 

In addition to his private sector work, Mark previously served as a city councilman for the City of Newark. He served as Chairman of the Economic Development and Public Safety Committees and sat as a member on the Finance and Capital Improvements committees. 

While in the Statehouse, Mark has made economic development and infrastructure investment his priority. He aims to improve the resources the state has to offer and facilitate opportunities to improve our community. His experience working with elected officials, community leaders and local stakeholders give him the experience necessary to help vitalize our district.

Mark currently is the Chairman of the Technology and Innovation Committee, Co-Chairman of the Unemployment Modernization and Improvement Council, and sits on the Commerce and Labor Committee, Insurance Committee, Publicly Funded Childcare Study Committee, and Ways and Means Committee. He has passed numerous pieces of legislation including Telehealth Modernization, Unemployment Oversight, Covid Relief, and Infrastructure Investment.

Mark and his wife Meghan have one daughter, Willow Annette, and one son Charlie. The Fraizers live in Newark.
